17 years ago I entered the field of Graphic Design after finishing my Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design in Perth at Central TAFE - 2005. Over the years I have worked with all kinds of print design and some online design.
My first junior role was at Dessein in Northbridge, doing basic admin and graphic design. I then did some freelance work for Plum Studio and Fuse Creative in Subiaco, where I assisted with their design work flow during a busy period. My next role was at Magenta where I was a junior designer and production assistant, liaising with printers and suppliers as well as creating, saving and supplying of artwork.
For almost 10 years I was working for The South Western Times, where my role changed over the years giving me various skills and experiences.
I now currently work part-time at Spencer Signs and also work for myself - In my spare time I like to get out and get creative with some photography, managing to capture some of our wonderful flora and fauna. When I'm not working I'm a mum to two boys, one of which is on the Autism Spectrum and I'm also training our new puppy which we are working on to be a Therapy dog.
I am skilled at using Adobe creative programs; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat DC. With some basic skills in Microsoft Office products and due to working at a newspaper I also have experience with other programs such as Newsgate, CCI and Arkitex.
A few things I can do; logos, business cards, postcards, flyers, brochures, Magazine and newspaper ads, window decals, in store signage, banners and signage, invitations, booklets, documents, car signage, newsletters, annual reports, catalogues, directories, photo editing; deep etching and enhancing the image.
I can also help with your social media and website images, by creating banners, infographics, website elements and social media adverts.
I have experience with WordPress, webflow, Shopify and Squarespace - along with some HTML & CSS.
