As I was taking this photo a Crow was about nearby and I couldn’t see the parent Shelduck’s. So I waited near the baby Shelduck for the Crow to leave, Crow’s are clever creatures, but also opportunists when it comes to baby duck’s – yes it’s nature, but I’d rather not witness it!
